Vibe Coding is a fun and creative introduction to coding where students learn how to build games, apps, and digital projects by working with AI as a coding partner. Instead of starting with complicated syntax, students focus on ideas, logic, and creativity, while learning how to guide AI to turn their ideas into real working programs.
In this course, students will learn how to:
No previous coding experience is required. We start from the basics and gradually introduce coding concepts such as variables, conditions, loops, and functions in an easy-to-understand and hands-on way.
By the end of the course, students will not only have completed multiple creative projects, but will also gain confidence in using AI responsibly as a tool for learning, problem-solving, and innovation.

Instructor Introduction: Daxian Yun
This instructor is an experienced programming coach with a strong practical background. Their expertise spans the entire technology spectrum, from hardware design to complex system architecture. They have also accumulated extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in application development and cloud infrastructure design.
In terms of professional experience, the instructor has over 5 years of hardware engineering experience and more than 15 years of programming experience, demonstrating both technical depth and breadth across multiple domains.
In teaching, the instructor adheres to the principle of personalized education, tailoring methods to each student’s unique characteristics. By identifying and nurturing individual strengths, they enable students to achieve comprehensive progress and balanced development.
During the 2024–2025 VEX IQ Robotics Competition, the instructor’s very first year of coaching yielded remarkable achievements: the middle school team won the Massachusetts State Championship, while the elementary school team earned the Massachusetts Excellence Award, and both teams successfully advanced to the U.S. Open and the World Championship. These accomplishments not only highlight the instructor’s teaching excellence but also demonstrate outstanding leadership in team guidance and competition coaching.
