Class Description:
This class is for children who enjoy any type of drawing or painting and would like to learn more drawing techniques and improve their creativity. The class will cover the basics of drawing principles and techniques through in-class demonstration and practice. While exploring line, shape, tonal values and proportions, students are encouraged to use their imagination to create their own art work. The class is designed for a full year. The concept of perspective will be discussed throughout the year. In the first half year the class will concentrate on understanding and practicing drawing with perspective method, and the second half year will be more still life drawing and shading.

Pui-Ying Ching
Pui-Ying has studied drawing and painting with private teachers at early age, and she has won the first place award at the art exhibition of the university she attended. For more than 30 years she continuously pursued her passion in fine arts. Her specialty is in pencil drawing, pen and ink drawing, and oil painting. She loves to help children, as well as adults, to find enjoyment in drawing and painting.
