Registration Procedures

Registration Procedures

 

Please note: the online registration process is considered as INCOMPLETE until the tuition payment is made in full to ACLS.

 

Tuition payment must be received no later than the first day of current semester. Otherwise the completion of your Fall registration may be delayed.

 

Please follow the“Tuition Payment Procedure”( http://acls-ma.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=102&Itemid=197&lang=en) on the ACLS website to complete the payment process after the class registration process is completed in accordance with the instructions below.

 

For existing students:

  • Please go to ACLS web site (Go to Family Login Page) and log in on-line registration with your log in ID and password, which are sent individually prior to the online registration opening period to each family by your email account that you provided to the school.

  • All MLP Students

    • All current MLP students are rolled over to next semester. When you open your Family Login Page, you will see the classes are already registered for you or your children (same grade for spring semester, 1 grade higher for fall semester). You will be allowed to withdraw classes. However, you won’t be allowed to transfer to or register into different classes. Please stop by room 409 to talk with the Deans of Language or/and Culture Program if you’d like to transfer to or register into different classes.

    • The parent duty fee ($35) has been applied to each MLP family. Please make sure to select a parent duty in order for this fee to be removed (refer to http://acls-ma.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=80&Itemid=313&lang=en for the updated policy and FAQs for Parents on Duty).

  • After you have made your selection for your parent duty, please click "Update Now" and print out the "Printable Summary" page.

  • If you are not back on the first page, please navigate back to the first page to make the tuition payment. One option is to click “Student/Parent”on the top menu. Please make a note for the Total Balance as shown on the page.

  • Payment Methods

    1. ZelleTM--On the Student/Parent page and below the line for the total balance, there is a new link “You can pay through Zelle”. You will leave ACLS website and enter Zelle tutorial page by clicking the “Zelle”link.

  • On your Zelle App or your bank App, use This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  as contact to send money to ACLS.

  • It is strongly recommended you to add your ACLS family ID and family login ID (i.e. usually your telephone number) to the Note or Message textbox.

  • Please note: Any Zelle payment without an ACLS email account cannot be processed in time which may cause delay to the completion of your registration.

    2. Personal Check--Alternative payment method using a check is still available. Please follow steps below to complete the payment.

      • Please be sure to write your family ID in the memo area of your check, and make it payable to: ACLS.

      • Please mail the "Printable Summary" page along with a check ("Due amount" shown on the summary page) to the ACLS (ACLS address is shown on the page).

      • Please note: Any checks without a registration "Summary" page attached will not be processed. If you prefer, you may bring them in starting when ACLS is in session (2:30 - 4:30 PM, Room 409, RJ Grey Junior High School).

     

    For New Students

    • During open online registration period, please go to ACLS web site (www.acls-ma.org), click “Registration” on the horizontal bar, and click “On-line Registration” under Submenus on the left side of the page. Click “Add Student” to add new students if you already have a family account with ACLS.

    • If you do not have a family account with ACLS yet, please click “create a new family account” (in the middle of the page) to first create a family account.

    • Once you have created a family account, you will receive an email with the login ID and password. You will be then able to go to the family login page to add new students as desired.

    • You can print out a registration form from ACLS website and fill in all the required information, and come to the in-person registration session on the first day of the semester.

     

     

    Special Notes:

     

    A. For Existing Students:

    • All MLP students are to be rolled over to the respective classes in next semester (same class for spring semester, one grade higher for fall semester). All Jinan Chinese students are to be rolled over to the same class ONLY in spring semester. In fall semester, parents need to register their children manually for next grade.
    •  For students who are currently in language or/and culture classes would like to transfer to different classes, please consult the Deans of Language Program and the Director of Culture Program respectively by email to This email address is being protected from spambots.       B. For New Students:

    •  For language class placement, please consult the Deans of Language Program by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  or come to room 409 when school is in session.
    • For culture class placement, please consult the Director of Language Program by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or come to room 409 when school is in session.

      C. Class Switch or Withdraw:

    •  All class switches have to be completed prior to the 3rd class of the semester (not including the day having the 3rd class) based on availability and the recommendations from the Deans.
    • No class switch will be processed on or after the day of 3rd class.
    • If you’d like to withdraw any classes, it is your responsibility to send a withdraw request to  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  or to withdraw by yourself during the opening online registration period.
